Ahh, new things!

Today, we got our first print copy of Issue #1 in the mail! It's the very first print copy to ever be made, so we are pretty excited about it!

We know that the prints are a little pricey. This one costs us around $20 with shipping and handling. But, don't worry. We aren't exactly meant to be a print magazine. Our e-copies are only $3.99, and if you subscribe (which is free) you will receive 12 issues for free. But you have to subscribe now!

We are starting work on our 2nd issue, in which we will feature Rasheed Lowery, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter in the Ada area. Also, he's amazing. There has been talk of Rasheed joining the HMA family, and hopefully will be opening for Dirty Derringer sometime soon!

And Speaking of HMA... here is their live music schedule for July. You can also find their schedule in our magazine!

We hope to get out a little more, now that one of our creators has a little more spare time, and see some of the local happenings in person. We hope to bring you pictures, and videos, and more local artsy news.

Here's a video if you need a fix. It was taken at Joey's birthday party at Vintage 22 on July 5th. They had an open mic night for the event and we think the turn-out was awesome. The video is a first time collaberation between Dirty Derringer, Schrodie's Muse' Jeremiah Hamilton, and Bryson Vann.

July 2014 Issue #1 is done!

We have worked long and hard, and now the first issue is ready for you to view! You can now go to our website, FolkabillyMagazine.com, click on the Issues tab, and simply click the first issue to read it! Our issues are $4.99, but you can subscribe for FREE in the next couple of weeks and receive 12 issues for FREE that are sent directly to you once they are released. That's $60 worth of issues for free!

For those of you who would like to know exactly how to subscribe, here you go. You can subscribe one of three ways:

1. While reading the magazine online on your computer, go back to the cover page and look to the left in the eReader. There will be a small subscribe tab in which you can click on. (This is the easiest way to subscribe, I think.)
2.You can go here: Folkabilly Newsstand (click on the words to your left) on your computer or your mobile and hit the subscribe button. You can also share from there to just about any social media platform.
3. You can download the JooMag app on your ipad or iphone. Search for the magazine and subscribe from the app. (For Ipad and Iphone users only.)

All of these will require that you create an account with either your Facebook, twitter, or email address. This isn't a big deal, and once you subscribe, our mag will be delivered every month to your newsstand on joomag.com or your app. I believe you will also receive a notification via email of a new issue. You will also be able to browse other JooMag emags and subscribe to them as well. All of these magazine are independent, so search and see if there's other great mags within Oklahoma and show some support by subscribing!

Please subscribe now, and enjoy your local Arts & Entertainment magazine!
